The Adrenal Glands are located on the top of each kidney and are responsible for producing hormones that regulate blood pressure, response to stress, metabolism, and many other functions of the body. Each gland consists of two parts, the outer part called the Adrenal Cortex and the inner part called the Adrenal Medulla.
